Shipping & Lead Times: every answer
How fast do custom-cut rug pads ship?
Pads are cut and shipped the same or next business day, and typically arrive in one to three days. Because manufacturing and cutting happen in the same domestic facility, custom sizing does not add a lead-time penalty.
Why is a custom-cut pad not on a long lead time?
Conventional custom pads are cut by a third party from stock rolls, adding a handoff and a queue. UnderItAll manufactures and cuts in one Georgia operation, so a custom size is a production instruction rather than a special order.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, to every state. Transit is typically one to two days in the Southeast, two to three across the Midwest and Northeast, and two to four to the West Coast and Mountain markets.
Can you hold an order until install day?
Yes. Orders can be staged to arrive with the rug rather than weeks ahead of it, which matters when a job site has nowhere secure to store materials.
How are pads packaged?
Pads ship rolled and protected so they arrive clean enough to go straight onto a finished floor. The packaging is sized to be carried by one person through a normal doorway.
Can pads ship to an active job site?
Yes. Site deliveries are common. Because the pad needs no fabrication, it can sit sealed until install day without occupying a staging area or requiring a cutting table.
Is expedited shipping available?
Yes. Same-day cutting means expedited transit actually compresses the timeline, which is not true of suppliers whose lead time is dominated by a fabrication queue rather than by shipping.
What if I order the wrong size?
If the pad is too large, remove 2-inch strips along the perforations and it is solved on the spot. If a pad is materially undersized for the rug, contact your representative and we will make it right.
Do I get tracking on a pad order?
Yes, with confirmation when the pad is cut and again when it ships, so you can commit to an install date with a client before the pad has arrived.
